Griya Luhu
“Established in 2017, Griya Luhu initially began as a community of individuals deeply concerned about sustainable waste management issues in Gianyar Regency, Bali. Our activities at that time primarily centered on raising public awareness, providing education to schools, and the surrounding community on waste separation.
Due to the suboptimal waste management in the Bali region, we expanded our efforts by establishing a waste bank driven by the community in 2018. The waste bank essentially reflects the values of mutual cooperation and the Indonesian community spirit. Community involvement is crucial to ensure sustainability in our endeavors.
Since 2020, Griya Luhu has evolved into a leading startup in waste management, offering digital waste bank services through an application equipped with simple, user-friendly, and accessible features. As of 2021, we have served 14 villages in Gianyar Regency, operating 74 waste bank units in the area, with a total of 4,000 customers, managing 13 tons of waste every month.
Our Vision:
Our Mission:
2. Establishing a user-friendly and accessible digital waste management application for customers and waste actors.
3. Creating sustainable and tangible change in community behaviour towards waste.
